Not long now until the May plant sale to be held on Sunday, 20 May. Please note the sale starts at 9 am and finishes at 2 pm. There are over 8,000 plants from 450 species. A full list is available now. Those species highlighted have been grown for the first time for a plant sale.
This is an ideal time to be buying native plants to fill in those bare spots in your garden! The Grevillea hybrid, RSL Spirit of ANZAC will be one of 24 different species of grevilleas available. There are also a number of lechenaultia species including the very popular Lechenaultia biloba with its electric blue flowers.
Plants cost between $4 and $10 with grafted plants around $25 each. Take this opportunity to buy your plants now as there will be a price increase at the Festival sale in September!
We would like to remind you that our plants are lovingly propagated by a small group of volunteers. Many species are not available from commercial native plant nurseries, and our sales fill an important niche in providing you with unique plants. The number of plants available for some species may be quite limited.
