Summer Scholarship Programme 2020

This week, the Friends of Kings Park were pleased to welcome our new students in our 2020/2021 Kings Park Summer Scholarship programme. The students are undertaking a wide range of projects:
Kalinda Miller | Efficacy of flash drying as a cryopreservation technique for recalcitrant species |

Analise Re | Effect of burning on plant community change in Kings Park |
Casey Ryan | Determining the fundamental range of germination conditions in species from the jarrah forest |
Ashley Browse | Towards a pollen library for Banksia woodlands |
Dylan Gibson | Ecophysiological assessment of fitness associated with provenance of Eucalyptus todtiana |
Lachlan McRae | Is heterosis associated with wide outcrossing in Tetratheca erubescens |
Monica Rothwell | Rooting strategies and survival of banksias in Hanson restoration |
Taylah Hanks | Seed carriers to aid in restoration |
At the end of the programme, members will be invited to attend a presentation by these students on their research findings.
