To be an advocate for Kings Park, so that it continues to be an inspiration for biodiversity conservation in the face of environmental challenges and to be an exceptional place to visit.

Native Plant Sales

Held 4 times a year, through rain, hail or sunshine, buyers from around Western Australia line up for the Friends plant sales.

Events

The Friends of Kings Park organises regular events for its members and the public, including seminars, guided tours and plant sales.

Volunteering

Volunteers in Kings Park and Botanic Garden contribute both time and skills to assist in the maintenance of the Park.

We wish to acknowledge the custodians of this land, the Wadjuk (Perth region) people of the Nyoongar nation and their Elders past, present and future. Friends of Kings Park acknowledges and respects their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of this city and this region.

 

The Friends of Kings Park management committee is opposed to the current trial of accommodation within Kings Park.

Kings Park is the People’s Park and an A Class Reserve. Accommodation within Kings Park is not necessary or appropriate.

We only have one Kings Park. Let’s keep it a natural experience and open for all.
