Our Vision

To be an advocate for Kings Park, to ensure it continues to be an inspiration for biodiversity conservation and an exceptional place to visit.

Native Plant Sales

Held 4 times a year, through rain, hail or sunshine, buyers from around Western Australia line up for the Friends plant sales.

The Friends of Kings Park organises regular events for its members and the public, including seminars, guided tours and plant sales.

Volunteers in Kings Park and Botanic Garden contribute both time and skills to assist in the maintenance of the Park.

As the COVID-19 situation  has evolved, we have been taking measures to ensure that our volunteers are protected. Sadly, we have had to make the decision to cease all volunteer operations in the Park until social distancing restrictions have been lifted.

We are committed to continuing the work of the Friends and staying connected with our members through online communications and our quarterly magazine, People & Plants. We’ll also be making plans for re-launching our events and Native Plant Sales when we’re able to.

We value our Friends of Kings Park family and once again thank you for your support through membership, donations and making purchases  at our Plant Sales.

By joining the Friends you will be the first to hear about our plans as they develop, and as 2020 evolves we hope to return to our great range of member benefits as soon as we can.

Our staff are now working from home, but feel free to get in touch through our website or email with any questions you might have.
