Friends of Kings Park supports Kings Park and Botanic Garden through volunteering, fundraising, advocacy, education and active participation in conservation and restoration.

There are many ways to get involved and support Friends of Kings Park: join as a member, volunteer with one of our many groups, support our advocacy campaigns, make a donation or become a corporate member.

Donate to help save our rare and endangered flora

Make a tax deductible donation

Your donation will go to valuable research projects and to support long term conservation and restoration of Kings Park and Western Australia’s native flora, as determined by our Gift Fund sub-committee and Management Committee.

Recent projects supported by Friends of Kings Park include:

Orchid conservation including research on the endangered Queen of Sheba orchids (pictured)
Seed banking research to extend the life span of native seeds in storage
Bushland restoration and weed management following fire
Rare and vulnerable species propagation
The annual Science Summer Scholarship program for postgraduate students

Planned Giving – Create your own legacy in Kings Park

For over 30 years, Friends of Kings Park volunteers have made significant and valued contributions towards enhancing Kings Park. Through partnerships with Lotterywest and BGPA, we have also helped to deliver the stunning and world-class facilities that make Kings Park a unique and special place.

This very special place requires ongoing nurturing and the Friends of Kings Park is asking both its members and the wider community to consider the option of planned giving, providing you with the opportunity to continue your support into the future. Your generous and thoughtful gift can make a significant positive difference.

You can support these programs by making provision in your will, and or a single annual gift or by making regular monthly gifts. Platinum Kangaroo Paw ($5000 annually)
